Hi, I’m Miss Kim

How is it that I am 54 years old and still haven’t got my life figured out yet? I’ve had four children and pretty much raised eight. I have worked many different jobs in many different businesses, from waitressing, short order cook, daycare advocate and even a loan processor at a credit union. I have a bachelor’s degree for education, but the only thing I have to show for it is $100,000 in student loan dept. Over the span of thirty years, I have bought one house and three mobile homes. All but one have been foreclosed on, only because I am trying to stay afloat and not lose this one. I have debt, plain and simple. Credit cards that I couldn’t pay, cars that have been repossessed, hospital bills, my gigantic student loan. You name it, I have it. But... Bill Collectors Don’t Call on Sunday!

Some days are funny. Some days are heavy. Most days involve reheated coffee and unfinished to‑do lists.

This space is for real life — the messy middle of motherhood, the money stress, the small wins, and the quiet Sundays when the world finally slows down.
